Hello! My name is Javier Alberca, and I’m passionate about football and current affairs. Since I was a child, I always had a dilemma: whether to pursue journalism or a career in film. However, as I grew older, I realized that it was possible to do both. That’s why I studied Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, a degree that has allowed me to stay connected to both worlds.
For me, communication has always been something to admire—exciting, fun, and engaging. I love the idea of informing readers, listeners, and viewers about the most relevant and interesting football news. Additionally, I’ve always believed that one of society’s biggest problems is the spread of lies, deception, and half-truths. That’s why I see journalists as key players in gradually reversing this trend so that truth prevails.
As for my film career, I have already worked as an actor in fiction films and commercials. I’ve had the opportunity to be part of various international TV series as an actor, as well as a supporting actor in multiple advertising spots.
There’s no doubt that today, the worlds of cinema, audiovisual media, and journalism are more interconnected than ever, given the screen-driven society we live in. It’s essential to find a synergy between audiovisual media and journalism so that today’s audience can access fully truthful information.
