Dani Carvajal isn't the only one, triple KO at Real Madrid to face Valencia

Santiago Bernabéu hosts one of the major matches of matchday 11 in LaLiga, with Real Madrid and Valencia in two opposite situations

This weekend, we had the big party on Friday, with a Halloween that brought thousands of people out onto the streets, eager to celebrate with enthusiasm. For most mortal human beings who have already crossed the threshold of 23 years old, the body can no longer handle two consecutive days of this kind. That's why Saturday serves to recover from what happened and, at the same time, to make it more enjoyable, to enjoy a Real Madrid - Valencia match that never disappoints.

The team from the capital of Turia already unexpectedly conquered Bernabéu last season and, of course, they'd love to do it again. These are tough times for the Valencian team, who are once again flirting too insistently with relegation. In this sense, a victory against Real Madrid would provide a great morale boost.

But a highly arduous task lies ahead, since Real Madrid comes into the match as leader with a five-point lead and only one loss out of 13 matches played. Or, to put it in even more epic terms, with twelve wins in thirteen games. To top it all off, they're coming off a Clásico win that has sparked full-on jubilation.

Xabi Alonso knows how important this match is and the need not to get overconfident and start dropping silly points. He wants to beat Valencia and has been preparing all week for it. However, he has had to deal in his plans, as has been usual this season, with several injuries.

The endless injury streak at Real Madrid

On Monday, we learned about Dani Carvajal's ailments, which even forced him to undergo surgery. He has left everyone in Madridism frozen because just this Sunday he had returned to play after recovering from another injury. The white captain will now be out for a couple of months, so we already knew he wouldn't be at Bernabéu tonight.

Those who also haven't recovered in time and aren't part of the squad are Antonio Rüdiger and David Alaba. Three important absences in the defensive area that limit Xabi's options for that zone. In Dani Carvajal's place, Fede Valverde will most likely play, although Trent Alexander-Arnold could also do so. The center of the defense will be occupied by Dean Huijsen and Eder Militao; Carreras will be on the left side.

In addition, the backup goalkeeper, Lunin, will also be in the stands after his sending off in the Clásico. These are absences Xabi Alonso has already gotten used to, so, in principle, they shouldn't disrupt his plans too much. David Alaba has barely played 146 minutes this season and Rüdiger 90; Carvajal has also missed several matches due to injury.
