Gerard Piqué (38): 'I just need to eat this while I watch Netflix to be happy'
During an interview, former footballer Gerard Piqué revealed one of his favorite foods
During one of his latest interviews, Gerard Piqué left more than a few people speechless when he revealed a detail about his private life. This well-known former footballer, who is 38 years old, had no qualms about stating that he only needs "to eat this while I watch Netflix to be happy."
On March 3, this well-known athlete sat down on the set of Spursito & Company, a show hosted by Martí Miràs, better known on social media as Spursito.

During his appearance on this show on the Catalan platform EVA, Gerard Piqué opened up as never before about several aspects of his personal life. In fact, he had no qualms about revealing how he manages public exposure and the comments he receives:
"The first years affect you, then you tend to protect yourself and my way was to close myself off. I walk down the street, I run into someone and that person's opinion doesn't matter to me... They can think I'm the worst in the world. It may seem a bit cold or distant, but that's just how it is."

However, he also took the opportunity to talk about the things that truly make him happy, among them, "eating fuet while I watch Netflix."
Gerard Piqué reveals during his interview the two things he needs to be happy
One of Gerard Piqué's greatest pleasures is eating fuet, a typically Catalan cured sausage. This is a detail he himself revealed during his revealing interview with the content creator, Spursito:
"When I'm happiest is when I go to the house I have in Cerdanya, make a fire in the fireplace, and put on a Netflix series. Also eating fuet, which I slice myself there, and nothing else."

According to experts, this cured sausage can be a good processed food, but that depends on the variety you choose. The traditional recipe of Catalan cuisine includes lean cuts and pork belly, as well as salt, sugar, pepper, and a preservative. These ingredients are wrapped in a natural casing.
However, if what you're looking for is a lower-calorie option, you can choose turkey fuet. This alternative is made only with meat from this animal and a blend of spices that make it different in flavor and texture.
Meanwhile, health specialists recommend cured sausages with low salt content and free of added sugar. Among the most recommended are jamón and lomo ibérico, cooked ham, and extra turkey or chicken breast. These choices are usually associated with a healthier diet.
