Neither Aurélien Tchouaméni nor Eduardo Camavinga will be Real Madrid's new pivot, they have already signed him.
The white club doesn't neglect the transfer market: Xabi Alonso gives the green light to the signing that will arrive from Germany
Real Madrid's midfield is entering a new era under Xabi Alonso's leadership. The Spanish coach has Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga as the main pillars on which to build the white midfield. Both represent the present and future of the club, although they have very different profiles and responsibilities within the system.

Number "14", Tchouaméni, acts as an anchor and tactical brain. He is a defensive, positional midfielder who understands the timing of the game and provides balance in every transition. Meanwhile, number "6", Camavinga, is a free spirit, a footballer with physical prowess and creativity who can play as an interior, midfielder, or even full-back if the situation requires it.
Aurélien Tchouaméni earns Xabi Alonso's trust
The case of Aurélien Tchouaméni deserves special mention. After an inconsistent last season, in which he alternated moments of brilliance with periods of disconnection, the Frenchman seemed to have lost Bernabéu's trust. He was booed on more than one occasion and his name was even mentioned as a possible departure in the summer.
However, everything has changed with Xabi Alonso's arrival. The Basque coach, who was one of the best midfielders of his generation, has managed to give him trust and a clear role within the system. Today, Aurélien Tchouaméni is untouchable in the starting eleven: he controls the spaces, intercepts balls, and distributes with intelligence, reminiscent of Xabi himself when he played.
Eduardo Camavinga needs to regain trust
The situation of Eduardo Camavinga, on the other hand, is more concerning. The Frenchman hasn't been able to keep consistency due to muscle discomfort that has plagued him for a year. That lack of rhythm has prevented him from showing his best version, and his presence in the team has been drastically reduced.
So far this season, Eduardo Camavinga has only played 76 minutes across five matches. Xabi Alonso still trusts his potential, but he needs to see him back at his highest level in order to count on him regularly. For now, the plan is to take things slowly and prioritize his full recovery.
Neither Aurélien Tchouaméni nor Eduardo Camavinga will be Real Madrid's new pivot, he's already signed
Even so, the club is already thinking long-term. Despite the presence of Tchouaméni and Camavinga, Real Madrid has practically secured its next defensive pivot: Chema Andrés. Trained at La Fábrica, the young midfielder had to leave this summer for Stuttgart in search of minutes and competitive maturity.
His loan to the German team has become a resounding success. In just a few months, Chema Andrés has earned a place as an undisputed starter in the Bundesliga. His performance has surprised everyone: he is a complete midfielder, with excellent game reading, physical dominance, and a personality beyond his years.
The reports reaching Valdebebas are excellent. So much so that within Real Madrid's coaching staff, they are already openly discussing his return for next season. Xabi Alonso, who is closely following his progress, is convinced that Chema Andrés is more than ready to be a starter at Bernabéu.
However, in order to bring him back, Florentino Pérez will have to pay €13.5 million, the amount set in the buy-back clause agreed with Stuttgart. At Real Madrid, they are certain: the operation will be carried out. Chema Andrés will return home to strengthen a key position and complete a midfield that promises to dominate European soccer over the next decade.
