Cis Doubles Its Bet: Sánchez Would Win the Elections and Stops Vox

Tezanos steps on the gas in the last survey before July 23rd

The CIS has just published the latest poll before the elections, and Sánchez's lead over Feijóo increases. According to the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (CIS), led by José Félix Tezanos, PSOE would win the elections by 1.4 points. Additionally, Sumar would be ahead of Vox.

The two main parties grow in voting expectations according to the latest CIS barometer. PP goes from 29.6% in the last poll to 30.8%, but wouldn't surpass PSOE. The socialists rise from 31% to 32.2% and would be declared winners as the most voted party in the elections.

PSOE climbs in seats to just three behind PP, when the last poll gave the populars a nine-seat advantage. The socialists would obtain 124 seats, which added to Sumar's 40 would approach an absolute majority. PP, with 127 deputies, wouldn't add up with Vox.

Sumar, Ahead of Vox

According to this "flash poll" from CIS, Sumar would drop to 14.9% but would remain the third force behind Vox. Santiago Abascal's party would stay at 11.8% and would see their electoral expectations halted. In seats, Yolanda Díaz's party would achieve 40, and Vox would remain with 30.

Regarding the pro-independence forces, ERC would lose almost half of its deputies and would be tied with Junts. However, Junqueras's party would clearly win in vote percentage.

Latest CIS Poll

Today is the last day that polls can legally be conducted, so it's the last time we will see a Tezanos barometer in these elections. Once again, it has caused great outrage. Comments like "this is what our taxes are spent on" are already flooding social media.

The fact is that Tezanos's CIS, which until recently gave Feijóo as the winner, has been indicating a change in trend for a few days now. This, despite Sánchez losing the face-to-face and no other poll showing this change. All barometers continue to give PP as the winner.

The latest CIS poll aligns with Pedro Sánchez's complaint about alleged manipulation of the polls. PSOE sees a dark hand trying to influence the Spanish vote. Now, Tezanos comes to Pedro Sánchez's rescue in the last week of the campaign.
