Official, Roony Bardghji is the one they want, top swap deal between Barça and Borussia Dortmund
Possible swap between Barça and Dortmund, Roony Bardghji could be used as a bargaining chip
Swedish forward Roony Bardghji has been one of this summer's surprise signings by Barça's sporting management. The 19-year-old winger arrived at Barça from Copenhagen for 2 million euros. The young striker was brought in to be Lamine Yamal's backup, but reality has turned out quite differently.
Lamine Yamal has been injured for several weeks and the Swede still hasn't appeared, as Hansi Flick has opted for other footballers. Although the young Kuwait-born player has been getting minutes, as of today he seems far from the level required at Barça. As a result, Hansi Flick is already considering using Roony as a bargaining chip in a truly interesting operation for the club.

The German coach is satisfied with the performance in the attacking area and doesn't foresee any additions in this regard. However, Flick believes it would be necessary to strengthen the backline with a top-level center-back. In this context, the Swedish player could become a bargaining chip to make possible the signing that the sporting management is considering.
Defensive doubts
After the surprise departure of Iñigo Martínez this summer to Saudi soccer, Hansi Flick has had to reorganize the heart of the defense. In these first six league matches, several center-backs have filled the spot vacated by the veteran Basque defender. However, both Ronald Araújo's and Andreas Christensen's presence have raised doubts.
So much so that Flick has chosen to place his utility man, Eric García, next to Pau Cubarsí, with the Martorell native returning to the center of the backline. He started as a starter at right back, benching Jules Koundé, but due to defensive doubts, Flick has placed the academy product at center-back. In this situation, it wouldn't be surprising if Ronald Araújo or Christensen, one of the two, ends up leaving in the winter transfer window.
Nico Schlotterbeck in the spotlight
Borussia Dortmund's young center-back has been followed for some time by Barça's sporting management, being Hansi Flick's great desire. The 25-year-old center-back is a key piece in the German team's defensive scheme with his great defensive solidity and ball-playing ability. His physical strength, 6 ft. 3 in. (1.91 m), makes him a true specialist in dominating the aerial game.
Dortmund would have valued him at 40 million, but Barça would be willing to offer a bargaining chip to facilitate the operation. Dortmund likes Roony Bardghji, who has shown great quality and significant attacking mobility during preseason. The swap is on the table and it will be Dortmund who will have to assess the suitability of the proposed exchange.
