Neither Atlético nor Barça, Pedri's best friend is getting closer to PSG
Luis Enrique knows him and is willing to bid for him: He wants him in his squad as soon as possible
Barça can boast a young and talented squad thanks to the work quietly carried out by the board. Joan Laporta has managed to stabilize the culé economy after years of financial tension that almost ended up sinking the club. Now, thanks to that margin, Deco will be able to make new signings during next summer.
Strengthening key areas has become Hansi Flick's top priority. The German wants a competitive squad to fight with guarantees in Europe. However, despite the good economic moment, in order to bring in the best players in the world, it will be necessary to make a significant sale.

Barça prepares changes in the midfield: Pedri is the only untouchable
The sporting management has decided that the midfield will be the area where sacrifices are made. Pedri remains the soul of the team and the only footballer considered untouchable at this stage of planning. His influence has allowed Barça to compete confidently against the continent's giants.
However, Pedri's best friend, Gavi, doesn't have his future secured in the Catalan capital. His progression promised to be meteoric, but injuries have halted his growth at the most delicate moment of his career. That has made him lose his status as an undisputed starter.
Barça knows they will have to make an important decision regarding Gavi in the coming months. Keeping him would mean betting on enormous talent whose performance is conditioned by his physical state. Selling him could allow for major reinforcements in several positions.
PSG accelerate for Gavi
Simeone has already shown interest in the culé midfielder, although without making decisive moves. The Madrid club has been keeping an eye on Gavi for some time, but they're not the best-positioned candidate. The one who has really taken the firmest step is PSG.
Luis Enrique was the coach who gave Gavi his debut with the Spanish national team at just 17 years old. He knows his competitive character and fully trusts his profile to build a solid project in Paris. For this reason, he has pressured PSG to send a strong offer to FC Barcelona.
At PSG, they're convinced that Gavi can make a difference in the medium term. That's why they're willing to bet on him at his lowest point, when his price is more accessible. It is said that they could present an offer of 80 million euros this summer.
