Barça's ratings against Oviedo: Laporta cancels a signing at Carlos Tartiere

Barça wins (1-3) against Real Oviedo and Laporta cancels a last-minute signing at Carlos Tartiere

It wasn't easy, but Barça ended up winning (1-3) against Real Oviedo on their return to Carlos Tartiere more than 24 years later. Flick's Barça relied on experience to come back in a match that became complicated before halftime, when Oviedo took the lead. Eric García, Ronald Araújo, and Robert Lewandowski were responsible for scoring the goals for a Barça that, with their strong performance at Carlos Tartiere, sent several important messages.

The standout player of the match was, without a doubt, Eric García, who scored Barça's first goal and was omnipresent in a match marked by a lack of offensive precision. Eric García was flawless throughout the entire match, something that shows he has the level and leadership to dominate the culer backline for as long as he wants. In addition to Eric García, Ronald Araújo, who dedicated his goal to Gavi, also had a great match: he provided an assist and scored with a header from a Rashford pass.

Barça's ratings against Oviedo: Laporta cancels a signing at Carlos Tartiere

Joan García (6): Barça's goalkeeper was decisive, but made a serious mistake on Oviedo's first goal. He remains decisive and undisputed for Hansi Flick.

Gerard Martín (5): Unremarkable match from Gerard Martín, who started again due to Alejandro Balde's absence. He remains ahead of Jofre Torrents in the rotation.

Pau Cubarsí (7): Good match from the culer center-back, who started again at Carlos Tartiere.

Ronald Araújo (9.5): Excellent match from the Uruguayan center-back, who left Carlos Tartiere with a goal and an assist. He was key in Barça's comeback with a run down the left flank worthy of the best full-backs in the world. He worked perfectly with an Eric García who was also outstanding.

Eric García (9): Great match from the Barça player. He can play everywhere and performs well in every position. He is one of the most important players for Flick and proves it match after match.

Marc Casadó (4): Poor match from Marc Casadó, who was substituted and did not organize the match. He was not sharp, and an inspired Frenkie de Jong came on in his place, key to FC Barcelona's victory against Oviedo.

Dani Olmo (4): Weak match from the Terrassa native, who still hasn't managed to be consistent in FC Barcelona's colors.

Pedri (9): Another great match from the Canary Island midfielder, who plays every match and is everywhere. He provided rhythm and composure when needed: he remains at an impressive level.

Ferran Torres (6): The shark didn't find the net and didn't have his best offensive match either.

Marcus Rashford (8): Another huge match from the English forward, who tried everything and was key in Ronald Araújo's goal. The Englishman leaves with an assist, although he could have scored on a couple of clear chances against Oviedo.

Raphinha (5): Weak match from the Brazilian, who was substituted due to discomfort that doesn't appear to be serious.
