Several users have shown their anger on social media and specialized forums after experiencing problems with receiving their new devices. Some reports indicate that the iPhones were sent to incorrect addresses. In some cases, even to several states away, and others were never delivered at all.

Many of these customers claim to have followed every step to the letter when making the reservation. However, despite this, their packages ended up in the wrong places.

Verizon has to give explanations

One of the most talked-about cases is that of a user who reserved their iPhone 17 Pro in advance, requesting that it be delivered to a Verizon store. At the last minute, the carrier decided to change the delivery point and send it to their home, something they never authorized. To make matters worse, the delivery was delayed without prior notice, and communication with customer service was anything but efficient.

After dealing with several virtual assistants and frustrating calls, they only received a simple claim ticket as a response. This is not an isolated case. Another customer reported that, after buying their new phone, the order was sent to an incomplete address.

As a result, their much desired device never arrived and, after several days of claims, they received it with a one-week delay. The error, as the company admitted, was theirs.

The story doesn't end there. In an online forum, another affected customer shared how their order was mistakenly sent to another address. Fortunately, in that case, the delivery driver did not leave the package, and the customer, recognizing the building in the tracking photo, ran out for their phone.

All these problems have set social media ablaze. Users express their frustration with Verizon, not only because of the logistical errors, but also due to the lack of clear answers and quick solutions. Some are already announcing that they will switch carriers as soon as their contracts allow.

Others are considering buying their devices directly from Apple or from other more reliable distributors. The arrival of a new iPhone is usually a reason for joy, but for many Verizon subscribers, this time it has been quite the opposite. Complaints are increasing, patience is running out, and the carrier's reputation is faltering.
