Major surprise after Vanesa Lorenzo's confession about her daughters, Manuela and Maria, with Carles Puyol
Carles Puyol, former footballer for FC Barcelona and one of the club's most iconic captains, has maintained a solid relationship with model Vanesa Lorenzo for over a decade. Together, they have formed one of the most admired couples in the Spanish scene.
Their story began to take shape at the end of 2012 and, in 2013, they decided to make it public through social media. Since then, they have not only shared their lives, but also the upbringing of their two daughters: Manuela, born in 2014, and Maria, in 2016.

After his retirement from professional soccer, Puyol chose to focus on his more personal side, dedicating more time to his family. The couple often share images with their daughters, showing a peaceful life far from the most sensationalist media spotlight.
Lorenzo has spoken out about a topic she considers essential in her daughters' education. It is about body and beauty perception. "In front of my daughters, I try to avoid conversations about people's appearance and physique; I talk about other things."
"I also insist a lot on inner beauty, since beauty goes much further. Messages to children must be taken care of. As a mother, it's a constant learning process," she explained in an interview given to the outlet El Español.
Carles Puyol and Vanesa Lorenzo: wedding on the horizon?
Regarding the couple's future, it doesn't seem that marriage is among their priorities, although they don't rule out taking that step someday. With a smile, Vanesa confessed: "He doesn't propose to me and tells me I have to do it. Let's see if we get encouraged."
Nevertheless, her view on family commitment is clear. "I believe that when you form a family, the father of your children is everything. Even if he and I separated, he'll always be in my life, because we've formed a family."
A mature and sincere reflection on what it means to build a bond beyond paperwork. Because commitment doesn't depend on a ceremony or a ring, but on shared responsibility, mutual respect, and the love for a family they've decided to form together.
