Lamine Yamal (18) breaks the silence about his mother, Sheila Ebana: 'She's my...'
Lamine Yamal has shared how he went from a difficult childhood to succeeding as a soccer star: his words
Lamine Yamal is much more than a soccer prospect. He is already a reality at FC Barcelona and a globally recognized figure. However, despite his success, he doesn't forget where he comes from.
Behind the young man who dazzles with the ball, there is a story of overcoming adversity, humility, and deep love for his loved ones. Especially for his mother, Sheila Ebana, whom he considers the true pillar of his life.

Lamine Yamal has moved people by speaking about his mother
In his interview with journalist José Ramón de la Morena, Lamine Yamal has opened up like never before. He has spoken about his origins, his parents' efforts, and, above all, the role his mother has played in his life.
"For me, she's my queen, she's the one I love the most," he has confessed. With these words, the young man has made it clear that his bond with her goes beyond the usual. He has also recalled in detail what his early years were like:
"I came from living in an apartment where the kitchen and the bedroom were in the same place." His mother worked tirelessly to keep the household running. "She couldn't spend much time with me because of work, but she always made me dinner when she came home at night."

Lamine Yamal has also shared one of those small joys that mark childhood. "I remember she bought me the PlayStation 4, which for me at that moment was everything. I had the Play 2 and Play 3 secondhand, and the 4 was finally the good one."
Lamine Yamal hasn't had an easy childhood
Now, having become a sports figure, Lamine Yamal has wanted to give back part of everything she did for him and has bought his mother a house. It was one of his first decisions after signing as a professional. A gesture of love and gratitude.
"I see my mother happy, I see that my brother can have the childhood I would've wanted and that's what makes me happiest," he adds proudly. His story shows that success doesn't erase one's roots. On the contrary, it makes them more visible.
"My life has changed in every way," he admits about his new reality. But he insists that, despite the fame, his family remains the most important thing. Especially his mother, the woman who stood by him in the most difficult moments.
