Florentino Pérez, aware of the symbolic and sporting value Vinícius Júnior has for the club, has personally intervened in the situation. Real Madrid president fully respects Xabi Alonso's decisions, but believes that he hasn't managed Vinícius's case in the best possible way.  According to Florentino, Xabi is being unfair to Vini.

In light of this situation,  Florentino Pérez's idea is to bet on Vinícius Júnior by improving his salary and ensuring his continuity with a new contract. A decision that puts Xabi Alonso on the ropes and that, if things remain the same, could end up costing him his job. Although the fans are with the coach, the president chooses to support his star.
