Rodrygo's official response to the two €80M offers: 'I want to leave for the...'

Rodrygo must make an important decision; they are two very good teams

The competition at Real Madrid is extremely high, to the point that it affects the situation of a superstar like Rodrygo. In most teams around the world, the Brazilian would undoubtedly be a starter because of his unbelievable ability to break the balance and his tremendous technical quality. However, at Bernabéu he barely gets any minutes because Vinícius plays in his same position, and he does so with a superiority that's hard to dispute.

Rodrygo accepted that role in the summer, when Xabi Alonso arrived with an attractive proposal and a series of promises to fulfill. His goal was to fight to regain prominence during the season. Now in November, the winger has only played 5 hrs. 59 min. (359 min.) and has gone 28 straight matches without scoring.

Million-dollar offers for Rodrygo

This situation forces Real Madrid to sit down and reflect on his future.  Rodrygo wants to stay, but the reality suggests that Florentino Pérez could push for his departure next summer, or even in January. In any case, he won't lack offers.

In the Premier League, there are two clubs determined to make a move. Tottenham and Arsenal are ready to offer €80 million in order to secure his signing as soon as possible. Both teams know that if Rodrygo regains his starting spot at Real Madrid, his price could easily exceed €100 million.

Florentino Pérez believes Tottenham is the best option. The London club is less of a direct rival in European competitions than Arsenal, and Real Madrid prefers to avoid strengthening a team that tends to be more competitive. That's why he favors sending him to Tottenham.

Rodrygo backs Arsenal

Rodrygo, however, is very clear about it. The "11" in white believes his style fits better in Arsenal's project and that he could have a more prominent role at the Emirates. That personal preference creates an internal dilemma at Real Madrid.

Florentino will have to decide whether to prioritize the financial aspect or respect the footballer's wish. What is clear is that Rodrygo is living through one of the most decisive moments of his career. His time at Real Madrid is inevitably coming to an end, so the time has come to choose a new destination.

The Premier League could be an ideal stage for Rodrygo to rediscover his best form. With much more space than at Bernabéu, less pressure, and fewer defensive responsibilities, he could finally explode. It's still too early to know what will happen, but it's very likely that Real Madrid's "11" will change teams in 2026.
