Barça's ratings against Real Sociedad: Flick rotates and already shifts focus to PSG
Barça beat Real Sociedad 2-1 in a match where Flick made rotations with the upcoming game against PSG in mind
Barça defeated (2-1) Real Sociedad in a match marked by Hansi Flick's rotations, as he was already thinking about Wednesday's match against PSG. Barça had to come from behind after Real Sociedad's opening goal, but they did it easily with Lamine Yamal's entrance, who provided an assist as soon as he came on. Flick decided to start Roony Bardghji and "Dro" Fernández: the latter made his La Liga debut for Barça at just 17 years old.
Real Sociedad isn't going through its best soccer moment, and it was evident during a first half in which Barça had total control of the match. Despite Barça's dominance, Real Sociedad took advantage of a good counterattack to take the lead at Montjuïc, which, 4 months later, was once again FC Barcelona's main stadium.

Odriozola broke the deadlock, but minutes later, Jules Koundé made it 1-1 on the scoreboard after a surgical cross from Marcus Rashford, who keeps racking up assists. Flick was able to rotate with PSG in mind: neither Eric García nor Pau Cubarsí nor Dani Olmo played, with the latter replaced by "Dro," who was substituted at halftime.
Barça's ratings against Real Sociedad: Flick rotates and already focuses on PSG
Wojciech Szczęsny (8): Good match from the Polish goalkeeper, who started again due to Joan García's injury. He had little work, but conceded a goal from Álvaro Odriozola.
Gerard Martín (6): He started again and had a good match, but didn't stand out offensively. He will very likely lose his starting spot in the next Champions League match, which will be against PSG and Luis Enrique this coming Wednesday at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
Ronald Araújo (9): Another good match from the Uruguayan titan, who delivered and stayed focused throughout the game.
Andreas Christensen (8): Very good match from the Danish center-back, who was sharp on the ball and quick in defensive actions.
Jules Koundé (7): The French defender scored, but he was a bit sluggish in some phases of the match. He needs to take a step up, especially in terms of mentality and focus.
Pedri (10): A perfect match from the Canary Islands midfielder, who remains a starter and undisputed for Flick. Pedri was once again the MVP of the match against Real Sociedad.
Frenkie de Jong (8): Not much is said about the work Hansi Flick has done with Frenkie de Jong. The Dutchman has gone from unnoticed to being at the level of the best midfielders in the world.
Dro Fernández (5): The 17-year-old debutant didn't have it easy, especially because he faced Real Sociedad's tough defense. He was replaced at halftime, making way for Dani Olmo from Egar.
Roony Bardghji (7): Good match from the Swedish player, who kept trying throughout the first half. After halftime, he was replaced by Lamine Yamal, who was returning from injury and came on like a rocket.
Robert Lewandowski (7): Solid match from Poland's "9," who scored again against a sensational Remiro. He finished off an excellent cross from Lamine Yamal, which gave Barça the 3 points and the lead in La Liga.
Marcus Rashford (8): Great match from the English winger, who remains a starter and important in Barça's colors. He was key in the 1-1, as he delivered an exquisite ball from the corner to Jules Koundé. He's in unbelievable form, and Barça is already considering paying for him to stay in Barcelona, this time on a permanent basis.
