Two LaLiga clubs are trying to take advantage of the lack of playing time at Real Madrid and are pushing to secure a loan
Real Madrid is having a rather good start to the season thanks to the depth of their squad, but not all their footballers are getting playing time. In a locker room with world-class names like Kylian Mbappé, competition is fierce for the younger players. That situation has caused concern for one of the strikers who is seeking immediate prominence.
According to recent reports, Gonzalo García has received two offers from top-flight teams to go out on loan. Both Real Oviedo and Celta de Vigo have inquired about him ahead of the January transfer window. Both clubs are looking for a goal scorer to solve their offensive problems and have identified the Madridist forward as an opportunity.
Oviedo and Celta need to strengthen their attack
Real Oviedo has only managed to score four goals (4) so far this season. Their lack of finishing is condemning them to fight in the lower part of the standings. Gonzalo García appears as a reinforcement who would bring mobility, finishing, and competitive hunger.
Celta de Vigo is going through a similar situation, with only seven goals (7) at the start of the league. The Galicians need to find solutions for their forward line and have set their sights on Gonzalo García. Both clubs would be willing to offer him the playing time and consistency he needs and doesn't have at Real Madrid.
Gonzalo García is not satisfied with his role at Real Madrid
The forward believes that after his performance at the Club World Cup, he deserves more prominence. However, in the current squad, he can't find a place due to the enormous competition caused by Kylian Mbappé. For Gonzalo, every match is an opportunity to show that he can make a difference.
Xabi Alonso trusts his development and has stated that he wants to give him more minutes in the coming weeks. Even so, he understands that the "9" may consider a temporary move to grow. At Real Madrid, it is admitted that a loan would be positive if it guarantees prominence and continuity.
The sporting management would not look unfavorably on a loan for Gonzalo García until the end of the season. The squad already includes other emerging talents like Endrick, who has no intention of leaving. For this reason, the club would naturally analyze the option for the homegrown player to gain experience elsewhere.
The key is whether the player himself decides to request a move. If Gonzalo García formally expresses his desire to play for another team, Real Madrid will agree to negotiate. The most likely formula would be a loan with an option to return at the end of the season.
