Florentino Pérez won't raise it any further, €15M signing bonus and €9M salary, it's his best offer

Real Madrid's president wants him at Bernabéu, but not at any price

Real Madrid's team and coaching staff are fully focused on the current season. Lifting the Champions League trophy again is the main goal, as well as competing for LaLiga and Copa del Rey with the highest possible ambition. However, while the players and staff prepare for upcoming commitments, Florentino Pérez is already looking to the future with great excitement.

Real Madrid's president is starting to plan next season well in advance. His intention is to strengthen the team with two or three top-level signings to shore up key positions such as defense and midfield. In this regard, Florentino Pérez has already identified his favorite signing for next summer.

Dayot Upamecano, Real Madrid's priority

Florentino Pérez's main target has a first and last name: Dayot Upamecano. Bayern Munich's defender's contract ends on June 30, 2026 (30 de junio de 2026), and he has become Real Madrid's number one target for the next transfer window. The club is convinced that Upamecano can raise the competitive level of the defense, forming a dream trio with Militao and Huijsen.

Florentino Pérez knows it won't be easy to convince the French international. Dayot Upamecano is established at one of the biggest clubs in the world, although his contract ends in the summer and he still hasn't renewed. Real Madrid wants to take advantage of this situation and is already preparing an irresistible offer.

Florentino Pérez sets limits on Dayot Upamecano's signing

According to recent leaks, Florentino Pérez is offering him a signing bonus of €15 million. This is a very high figure that shows the club's genuine interest and the firm intention to reach a verbal agreement as soon as possible. In addition, the president is willing to offer him a salary of €9 million per season, numbers that would place him among the highest-paid defenders in Europe.

These are similar figures to what Rüdiger received when he arrived on a free transfer from Chelsea, which  proves how important Dayot Upamecano's signing is for Florentino. The president believes that his arrival would mean a positive revolution at the heart of the defense, especially considering that Rüdiger's contract also ends and he will leave the team in the summer.

Florentino Pérez considers this his best offer and isn't willing to go any higher. He firmly believes that Real Madrid's sports project, together with the importance Dayot Upamecano would have in Xabi Alonso's system, are already powerful enough arguments. At Chamartín, they trust the player will value this scenario and choose to take the big leap in his career.
