This lack of perspective has been key in his decision. Valverde has already informed the club that he will not continue under these conditions. He needs a project that trusts him as a complete midfielder, with status and real responsibility in the game.
Manchester United make a move
In this context, Manchester United appear. The English club has put forward an offer close to 120 million euros, a figure that reflects the scale of the move. At Old Trafford they see him as the leader they need.
The proposal appeals to Valverde; they guarantee that he will play in his natural position, with freedom to reach the box and offensive influence. The Premier League appears as an ideal stage to relaunch his career. If nothing changes, Real Madrid has a real earthquake in the market ahead.
