Deco confirms it, Barça is too much for him, Lamine Yamal has already said goodbye

The Barça forward knows that his close friend will not be able to succeed after the sporting director's latest move

Barça is experiencing a period of ambitious rebuilding, in which every step taken by the board seems aimed at consolidating a solid project. After several years of institutional and sporting ups and downs, the club has managed to stabilize thanks to strategic decisions and a firm commitment to young players. Under Deco's management in the sporting direction, Barça has regained a clear direction: to trust La Masia and players with potential.

This new direction has started to yield visible results both in collective performance and in the emergence of young players with tremendous potential. Among them, Lamine Yamal has become the brightest jewel of this new generation. At just 18 years old, the winger is already one of the most influential pieces of the team, capable of changing matches with his natural talent and his boldness against any defense.

Lamine Yamal and the friend who won't stay at Barça

Lamine Yamal's progression over the past year has been meteoric. His impact isn't limited to the attacking area, as he has also taken on responsibilities typical of a veteran. In Barcelona, the fans already see him as the spiritual heir to the great wingers who have defined eras at the club.

Lamine Yamal's growth reflects the success of a structure that has known how to protect him and demand from him just the right amount. Hansi Flick, aware of his importance, has made him an almost undisputed player. His connection with players like Pedri has brought freshness back to Barça's attacking play, which is once again unpredictable and direct.

However, not all news is good in the Catalan youth academy. Deco accepted the loan of Héctor Fort to Elche, a move that suggests the youth player won't have an immediate place in the first team. The young full-back, who was highly regarded after getting minutes with Xavi, will have to look for playing time elsewhere to continue developing.

The sporting director himself has explained that the competition at right-back is very high and that the loan is the best solution for the player. The club's demands and the level of the starters make his short-term return seem complicated.

Héctor Fort's future

The most striking thing is that Lamine Yamal and Héctor Fort are great friends, united since their time in the youth categories. For Deco, the priority remains for young players to grow in competitive environments, even if that means separating them temporarily.

In Fort's case, the sporting management believes that Barça is still too big for him, at least for now. Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal continues his unstoppable rise, aware that the best tribute to his friend is to keep succeeding in the jersey they both dreamed of defending.
