No one at AT&T will want you to find out about this: thousands of Americans are now amazed

Many users have the possibility to file a claim after the mistake made by the company

Important information is starting to circulate and many AT&T customers still haven't found out. This is something that could mean a considerable financial compensation. Surprisingly, the company hasn't spread the word much.

It's not hard to understand why. After suffering two data breaches in 2019 and 2024, AT&T has had to answer to the courts and now faces a multimillion-dollar settlement. What's interesting is that there are thousands of users who are entitled to claim money, but if they don't find out in time, they'll lose it.

The problem AT&T faces

Everything began with two serious security incidents that exposed subscribers' personal data. Information such as full names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, call records, and text messages was stolen. These attacks weren't simple technical errors, but serious failures that affected the privacy of millions of people.

As a result, AT&T has agreed to pay up to 177 million euros ($177 million) in compensation to affected users. This amount is divided into two funds. One for 149 million euros ($149 million) corresponding to the 2019 breach, and another for 28 million euros ($28 million) for the 2024 breach.

Users have until November 18, 2025 to file their claim and be eligible to receive their share of the settlement. As for the amounts, everything will depend on each affected person's situation.

If a user was a victim of both breaches, they could receive up to 7,500 euros ($7,500) in total. That would be 5,000 euros ($5,000) for the first incident and 2,500 euros ($2,500) for the second. However, the final amount will depend on the number of approved claims and whether the affected person can prove expenses resulting from the breach.

Those who don't submit proof of documented losses can still be eligible for compensation, although it will be lower. The process to file a claim with AT&T is simple. It can be done online or also by mail.

For those who prefer to send their application by mail, they must download the forms corresponding to each breach from the same website. Fill them out, sign them, and send them to AT&T Data Incident Settlement
c/o Kroll Settlement Administration LLC. New York, NY 10150-5324

The envelope must be postmarked before November 18, 2025. If you prefer to sue AT&T individually and not join the settlement, you must opt out before October 17, 2025.

An opportunity for many customers

This is one of those situations where silence works in favor of the company and against the consumer. Thousands of AT&T users could be missing out on legitimate compensation simply because they're not informed. So, if you were a customer during 2019 or 2024, it's best to check your situation as soon as possible.

Don't miss this opportunity. Claims against AT&T are already open, but time is running out.
